POLYTONE® AP 120/121 are alkylphenol-modified, thermoplastic, phenolic resin. These products are designed to impart building tack toward synthetic rubbers like SBR. Its oil-soluble and hence shows compatibility with various synthetic rubbers. They are also used in ply cements by formulating into solvent based adhesives. Widely accepted as a replacement of Hydrocarbon Resins and used in pressure sensitive adhesives. Reduces usage of Hydrocarbon Resin by 66%.

POLYTONE® AP 120/121 is primarily used to produce tack in the undertread and skin coats of tires. It can be formulated as adhesive and also milled into rubber stock.

STORAGE & HANDELING

Available in 20/25/30Kg HDPE Line KRAFT Paper Bags with Anti Static Liner or 20/25/30Kg HDPE Bags Choice of ISPM 15 Standard Heat Treated/Fumigated Pallets or Plastic Pallets. Individual pallets must NOT be double stacked – pastilles/lumps are likely to agglutinate. Properties are not affected by agglutination Can be stored up to 12 months at temperatures below 35 °C .
